Mr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who quit the Telugu Desam along with three other party MLAs, floated a new forum — Telangana Nagara Samiti — in Mahbubnagar on Friday to fight for Telangana.

In another development, the former TD MLA, Mr Manohar, from Chittoor quit the TD and joined the YSR Congress. The TD chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, while referring to the launch of the TNS said emergence of new parties would have no impact on the TD since it’s the only party that can fight the Congress. Mr Nagam, along with Mr K. Harishwar Reddy, Mr Jogu Ramanna, former Ex-MLA Boda Janardhan and other supporters offered prayers at Umamaheswara Swamy temple near Achampet and announced the launch of the new forum.
