Sakhi is the second most popular daily newspaper in India. It has its head quarters at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. If is owned by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of YS Rajashekar Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
History
The Sakshi Paper was started on 24th March, 2008. The newspaper circulation went to the top soon because of the popularity of YSR.
Features
• It has 23 multi-coloured editions, one for each of the Andhra Districts.
• It is the second largest selling daily News paper in Andhra Pradesh only after the Eenadu.
Drawbacks
• Initially it is considered to be a congress-biased newspaper
• Presently, it is mostly considered to as Jagan-biased newspaper.
