IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into IBS. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Online Admit Cards: From November 15, 2011 onwards at www.ibsat.org (No hard copies will be mailed)
IBSAT Date: December 24, 2011 (Saturday) 02.30 pm – 04.30 pm
Reporting Time: 01.30 pm at Test Center.

How to apply

Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods.

OMR Application Form Applicants are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBSAT Office (address given on the left hand side).
Online Application Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.ibsat.org and make payment of ` 1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.
Download of Application Form Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of 1,200 towards the cost (DD in favor of “IUCF A/c IBS” payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

Last day for application

The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is December 08, 2011. All applicants are advised to adhere to the last date prescribed for submission of the application form. Please submit the application form as early as possible to improve the chances of getting the test center of your choice.

It is mandatory for all the applicants to indicate their e-mail ID, as all important information relating to IBSAT will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail.

Similarly all applicants are required to send their letters/correspondence by e-mail only to: [email protected] clearly indicating their names and Application Number of IBSAT.

Online Application for GMAT/CAT2011 Applicants

GMAT and CAT 2011 scores are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT Code number of IBS is 7061. Applicants with GMAT score of 550 and above are exempted from appearing for IBSAT. Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form and make payment of 1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of `1,200 towards the cost (DD in favor of “IUCF A/c IBS” payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants. The last date for receipt of applications is January 31, 2012.
