Second SRC talk foolish: Kodandaram
Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram has said that the national Congress leaders’ foolish statements that constitution of Second SRC for solving demands for small States was the policy of the Congress, due to lack of knowledge.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Prof. Kodandaram contended that the first States Reorganisation Commission had solved the demands for separate Telangana and Vidarbha States. He said that the national Congress leader Digvijay Singh was harping on Second SRC for solving Telangana issue due to ignorance. He also reminded that Union Minister Pranab Mukharjee had already declared that the Second SRC did not apply to Telangana State issue. He also reminded that the Congress and other parties made it clear that constitution of Second SRC in 2009 was not possible.
The Telangana JAC convenor predicted that the UPA government would collapse if it appointed Second SRC now.
