Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s new film ‘Gabbar Singh’ shooting was formally launched at Hyderabad recently. Vogue beauty Shruthi Haasan will play the female lead while Abhimanyu Singh (of Rakta Charitra fame) will don villain.
The film, which is the remake of Salman Khan starrer super hit Bollywood flick ‘Dabangg’, will be directed by Harish Shankar (of Mirapaki fame). Buzz is that he had changed the script as per the tastes of Telugu audience. Also, it is learnt that Suhasini would play Pawan Kalyan’s mother while Nagineedu (of Maryada Ramanna fame) his father.
Actor-turned producer Ganesh, who produced ‘Teenmaar’ with Pawan Kalyan, is producing the film.
Music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
