			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>ISAT</strong> is an Entrance Examination conducted for the admission to the Under Graduate Programmes at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST).The examination is conducted annually and students from all over the country appear for this examination. Last year more than 95000 students have appeared for the examination. All total 156 seats are available for under graduate programmes.</p>
<p><strong>Under Graduate Programmes</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Bachelors of Technology in Aerospace Engineering</li>
<li>Bachelors of Technology in Avionics</li>
<li>Bachelors of Technology in Physical Sciences</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Number of Seats Available</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Bachelors of Technology in Aerospace Engineering – 60</li>
<li>Bachelors of Technology in Avionics – 60</li>
<li>Bachelors of Technology in Physical Sciences – 36</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Reservation of Seats</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>For Scheduled Castes (SC) it is 15%</li>
<li>For Scheduled Tribes (ST) it is 7.5%</li>
<li>For Other Backward Castes (OBC) belonging to Non Creamy Layer it is 27%</li>
<li>For Physically Disabled (PD) candidates it is 3%</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Eligibility Conditions for ISAT</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Indian citizens are only eligible for the examination</li>
<li>General and OBC candidates must have been born on or after 01.10.2011 and SC / ST and PD candidates must have born on or after 01.10.1982</li>
<li> General and OBC category candidates must have obtained at least 70% marks in aggregate in standard 10<sup>th</sup></li>
<li> SC / ST and PD category candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in aggregate in standard 10<sup>th</sup>.</li>
<li>General and OBC candidates must have secured at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent examination</li>
<li>SC / ST / PD candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry in 10+2 or equivalent examination.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Examination Fees</strong></p>
<p>The examination fees has to be remitted in any one of the branches of State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National bank (PNB) or Union Bank of India (UBI)</p>
<ol>
<li>Rs 600/ for General and OBC Male candidates</li>
<li>Rs 300/ for General and OBC Female candidates</li>
<li>Rs 300/ for all SC / ST and PD candidates</li>
</ol>

<li>Candidates are required to fill all the essential details</li>
<li>Candidates have to download the Challan</li>
<li>The fee has to be remitted in any one of the branches of Bank the candidates have opted for.</li>
<li>Candidates have to send the ‘Institute Copy’ of challan through Speed Post</li>
