The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Thursday insisted that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu clarify his stand on the Telangana issue.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, TRS floor leader Etela Rajender said that the TDP president never had clarity with regard to demand for Telangana statehood.

It maintained a confused stand in its manifestoes, as well as in the communications that it has sent to the Centre on this issue. Therefore, he demanded that Naidu should clearly say whether he was in favour of Telangana or not.

Etala said that the people in the region have lost faith on the TDP due to its confused stand. If the TDP was serious of winning back the lost faith, then it must first clarify its stand on the statehood issue. Until then people in the region would treat the Telugu Desam as anti-Telangana party, he said.

Speaking about Naidu’s ‘Rythu Poru’ padyatra, the TRS leader also accused Naidu of shedding crocodile tears for the farmers. He said during his nine years’ tenure as the Chief Ministers, thousands of farmers committed suicide and he failed to provide support to the distressed farmers. He said that ‘Rythu Poru’ programme has been launched for votes and Naidu was not really concerned about farmers.

Etela demanded that the State Government immediately extend help to the farmers in the drought-affect areas. He said mere declaration of drought-affected mandals would not help the farmers and they need help at the ground level. He demanded that the government implement all the recommendations made by the Jayanti Ghosh Commission.

The TRS leader demanded that the government provide crop insurance, waive interest on loans, reduce the prices of seeds and fertilisers and supply quality and uninterrupted power to the farmers. He also demanded payment of ex-gratia of Rs 3 – 4 lakh to the families of farmers who committed suicide.

సకల జనుల సమ్మెలో భాగంగా చేపట్టిన ఆర్టీసీ తెలంగాణ కార్మికుల సమ్మె తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం వచ్చేదాకా కొనసాగుతుందని ఎన్‌ఎంయూ తెలంగాణ ఫోరం స్పష్టం చేసింది. కాంట్రాక్టు కార్మికులతో అద్దె బస్సులను అక్కడక్కడ కావాలనే తిప్పుతూ ఆర్టీసీ సమ్మె ముగిసిందంటూ సంస్థలోని సీమాంధ్ర అధికారులతోపాటు సీమాంధ్ర మీడియా దుష్ర్పచారం చేస్తోందని మండిపడింది. ఫోరం చైర్మన్ థామస్‌డ్డి, కో కన్వీనర్ కె. హన్మంతు ఆదివారం విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో తాజా కార్యాచరణను ప్రకటించారు. తెలంగాణ వచ్చేదాకా సమ్మె ఆగదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. తెలంగాణపై ఢిల్లీలో చోటుచేసుకుంటున్న పరిణామాల నేపథ్యంలో ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికులు ఆందోళనకు గురికావద్దని వారు కోరారు. కార్యాచరణలో భాగంగా సోమవారం తెలంగాణవ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని డిపోల ఎదుట అర్ధనగ్న ప్రదర్శనలు, మంగళవారం ర్యాలీలు, ధర్నాలు, 5న మానవహారాలు, 6న జమ్మిచెట్టు వద్ద తెలంగాణ కోసం ప్రార్థనలు నిర్వహిస్తామని ప్రకటించారు.

సెప్టెంబర్ 16 వరకు విధులు నిర్వహించిన తెలంగా కార్మికులకు జీతాలు ఇవ్వకుండా సీమాంవూధలో జీతాలు ఇస్తున్న ఆర్టీసీ యాజమాన్యంపై వారు ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తెలంగాణ కార్మికులకు జీతాలు, అడ్వాన్సులు ఇవ్వకుంటే ఆందోళన ఉధృతం చేస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు.

అద్దెబస్సులను తిప్పుతూ డీజిల్ కాజేస్తున్నారు
ఫలక్‌నుమా డిపో పరిధిలో అడ్డాకూలీలను డ్రైవర్లుగా, స్వీపర్లను కండక్టర్లుగా పెట్టి బస్సులను నడుపుతున్నారని, ఇలా అయితే ఆర్టీసీకి ప్రజలు దూరమవుతారని వారు హెచ్చరించారు. సమ్మె పేరు చెప్పి అద్దె బస్సుల యాజమాన్యాలను ఆర్టీసీ యాజమాన్యం పోషిస్తోందని, సమ్మె 10 రోజుల్లో 10వేల లీటర్ల డీజిల్‌ను అధికారులు, అద్దెబస్సుల యాజమాన్యాలు కలిసి కాజేశారని ఆరోపించారు. తెలంగాణలో ఆర్టీసీకి నష్టాలే లేవని, రాష్ట్రం వచ్చిన తర్వాత నెల రోజుల్లోనే తమ సంస్థను తాము లాభాల్లో నడిపించుకుంటామన్నారు. సమావేశంలో ఎన్‌ఎంయూ టీ ఫోరం కో చైర్మన్ ఖదిర్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

జేఏసీ నేతలు వచ్చిన తర్వాతే సమ్మెపై సమీక్ష: ఆనందం
ఆర్టీసీ సమ్మె ముగిసిందంటూ సీమాంధ్ర టీవీ ఛానళ్లు చేస్తున్న దుష్ర్పచారాన్ని నమ్మవద్దని ఆర్టీసీ తెలంగాణ కార్మికులకు జేఏసీ చైర్మన్ ఆనందం విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఆదివారం ఆయన మీడియాకు ఓ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు. ‘‘యాజమాన్యం తాయిలాలు ప్రకటించినా, ఉద్యోగాల నుంచి కాంట్రాక్టు కార్మికులను తొలగిస్తామన్నా, పోలీసు ఎస్కార్టుతో అద్దె బస్సులను బలవంతంగా తిప్పుతామన్నా ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికులు చలించడం లేదు. దీనికి కారణం తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఆకాంక్ష. జేఏసీ ప్రతినిధులు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంతో చర్చలకు వెళ్లారు. అక్కడి నుంచి వారు వచ్చిన తర్వాత సమ్మెపై సమీక్ష జరుగుతుంది. సమ్మె యథావిధిగా కొనసాగించాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నా. జీతాలు లేకున్నా తెలంగాణ కోసం ఉద్యమిస్తున్న కార్మికులను అభినందిస్తున్నాం. పుకార్లను నమ్మకుండా మోసకారి నాయకులను కనిపెట్టుకుంటూ ఉద్యమంలో ముందుకు సాగు దాం’’ అని కార్మికులను ఆనందం కోరారు.

నేడు కాంగ్రెస్ దిష్టిబొమ్మల దహనం: రాజిడ్డి
తెలంగాణ విషయంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ తీరును తాళలేక ఇబ్రహీంపట్నంలో కండక్టర్ లక్ష్మయ్య మృతి చెందారని, ఆయన ఆత్మశాంతి చేకూరాలని ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ కన్వీనర్ కె.రాజిడ్డి ఆకాంక్షించారు. ప్రాణాలు పోతున్నా కేంద్రం పట్టించుకోకపోవడాన్ని నిరసిస్తూ సోమవారం తెలంగాణ వ్యాప్తంగా కాంగ్రెస్ దిష్టిబొమ్మలను దహనం చేయాలని ఆయన పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఆదివారం ఢిల్లీ నుంచి ఫోన్‌లో ‘టీ న్యూస్’తో మాట్లాడుతూ మంగళవారం నల్లజెండాలతో స్కూటర్ ర్యాలీలు చేపట్టాలని కోరారు.
