తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు సబ్బండ వర్ణాల ప్రజల పోరాటాల విజయం. తెలంగాణ కోసం ప్రాణత్యాగం చేసిన అమరుల్ని గుండెల్లో దాచుకుని, వారి ఆశయాల కోసం పాటుపడతామని తెలంగాణ జర్నలిస్టుల ఫోరం (టీజేఎఫ్) ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేసింది. బుధవారం ఉదయం గన్‌పార్క్‌కు చేరుకున్న తెలంగాణ జర్నలిస్టు ఫోరం నేతలు అమరవీరుల స్తూపం వద్ద నివాళులర్పించారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం 1969 ఉద్యమం, 2009 నుంచి కొనసాగుతున్న మలిదశ ఉద్యమంలోఅసువులు బాసిన అమరుల త్యాగ ఫలమని కొనియాడుతూ, వారికి నివాళులర్పించారు. ‘జోహారులు.. జోహారులు.. అమరులకు జోహార్.. వీరులకు జోహార్, వీరులారా వందనం.. విద్యార్థి అమరులారా వందనం పాదాలకు’ అంటూ ఉద్యమగీతాలను ఆలపించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా టీజేఎఫ్ నేతలు ప్రసంగిస్తూ వివిధ పత్రికలు, టీవీల్లో పనిచేస్తున్న తెలంగాణ జర్నలిస్టులు ఈ త్యాగఫలాన్ని కాపాడుకుంటూ.. తెలంగాణ పునర్నిర్మాణం కోసం పనిచేయాలని కోరారు. ఇరుప్రాంతాల ప్రజలను రెచ్చగొట్టకుండా మీడియా సంయమనం పాటించాలని, విభజనను ఇరు ప్రాంతాల వికాసానికి దారితీసేలా అందరూ చర్చించాలని టీజేఎఫ్ ఈ సందర్భంగా కోరింది.తెలంగాణ కోసం జరుగుతున్న పోరాటంలో సబ్బండ వర్ణాల ప్రజలతో కలిసి భుజం భుజం కలిపి నడిచిన కలాలన్నీ ఇక ముందు కూడా తెలంగాణ పునర్నిర్మాణం కోసం పునరంకితమవుతాయని టీజేఎఫ్ అధ్యక్షుడు అల్లం నారాయణ ప్రకటించారు.

The UbiSlate7+ is an Android 2.3 touch screen tablet that has a HD video co-processor for a high-quality multimedia experience and core graphics accelerator for faster application support.

It is heard that UbiSlate7+ is the only Android device in the market to offer DataWind’s UbiSurfer browser, based on 18 international patents.

India’s low cost tablet Aakash, a long awaited tablet made for people from various strata is now here and gaining momentum all around. DataWind Ltd, a heading developer of wireless web access products and services manufactured Ubislate.

The device was launched under the name Aakash on 5 October 2011 in India. The maker of the device is DataWind, a UK-based company owned by a Suneet Singh Tuli, a Canadian of Indian descent.

According to some sources, Raju left for Texas on Wednesday morning shortly after admitting to committing a Rs 7,000 crore fraud.

There is a petition pending over his Maytas deal for which British Telecom’s Solutions firm – U-paid had demanded the presence of Raju and senior directors of Satyam for questioning by its lawyers.

As per unconfirmed TV reports, he could have also left for Dubai.

The former Satyam’s chairman is also unreachable on his mobile phone.

The company is expected to hold a news conference at around 5:00 p.m. this evening. The interim CEO of Satyam Computer Services, Ram Mynampati, is likely to address the media.

On Wednesday, Mynampati admitted to the outsourcer inflating profits over several years and that senior officials have been summoned to the Satyam’s headquarters in Hyderabad for further deliberations aimed at ending the crisis.

Meanwhile, Corporate Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta said the government is verifying Raju’s statement.

On Wednesday, Raju claimed that Satyam had inflated its earnings over the past few years, but no other board member had been aware of these financial irregularities.

“Once the contents of the message is verified, a proper action would be taken. If it is correct, it is shameful,” said Gupta.

Do you access Gmail messages on two or more computers via POP clients like Outlook or Thunderbird. The problem (or advantage) with POP access is that once an email message gets downloaded onto one computer, it is skipped by other email clients.

To explain that further – let’s say you have configured both your personal laptop and work computer to download emails from your Gmail account via POP access. Now if the emails are downloaded to the laptop first, they wont be available on your work computer (and vice-versa).

While this is a time-saving feature, your emails are split across different computers. To trick your POP client into downloading Gmail emails that are already fetched by other clients, just use the recent mode in Gmail.

Open your Outlook (or other POP client) and add the word “recent:” to your gmail username. That means if your gmail address is “john@gmail.com” replace that with “recent:john@gmail.com”

This trick will also work on custom domains if you are using Google Apps with Gmail.

The Google gives you tons of space to store your precious email and attachments. We have found ways to use that space for our evil practical ways.

We all know The Google backs up regularly and runs some of the biggest redundant data centers in the world, but do you really trust your emails from your long lost girlfriend attachments of your trip to that sci fi convention important work emails and attachments with them?

Wouldn’t you feel safer with a backup of your own?

Of course you would young Admin! It is one of the rules I preach daily as a Network Administrator.

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP! He who laughs last usually has a backup…

Enough beating around the bush – the tool is called simply GMail Backup and guess what it can do?

Wow you guys are on the ball today! Yup it can backup your entire Gmail account including attachments to a local folder on your computer. That is backup entire Gmail account on your hard drive. Ready to check it out? The GUI version of this is WINDOWS ONLY but there is also a command line version that works on Linux and Mac.

The installer version 0.44 is 4.4 MB and can be downloaded from here (Windows, Linux or Mac). The Windows download is directly available here. After installing it you can launch it from your start menu.

This is as simple as it gets guys. Easy as….well easy as typing in your username and password and clicking a few buttons.

You will have a full local copy (or a backup filtered by date). These messages are able to be opened in Outlook Express or similar email programs – and get this they will retain all their attachments! This is a glimpse of the file structure Gmail Backup creates. As you can see in the screen shot below it used the path I specified in the GUI and if I had folders created in my account it would have created those sub folders as well.

It gets even better. You can restore your local emails right back to Gmail with the click of the restore button. Awesome!

Step 1: Log in to your gmail account

Step 2: On your Gmail Click on Settings(A) then Forwarding and POP/IMAP(B) then Click enable POP for all mail(C) then click Save

Step 4: Click on Tools(A) then E-mail Accounts(B)

Step 5: Select Add new e-mail account(A) then click next(B)

Step 6: Select POP3 then click next

Step 6: On label A, input yourname and e-mail address. On label B, input your email password. On label C, copy what is being type on the image. Click on Mor

Step 7: Click on Outgoing Server and then check the My outgoing SMTP requires authentication as image shown

Step 8: On more settings click on Advanced(A) then check the two checkbox as image shown then click Ok(B)

Dependencies

Note that this application requires that the following PHP extensions have been installed:

• MySQL
• GD
• MBString

To check whether these extensions are installed, open the php.ini file in the PHP installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\PHP) and make sure that the following lines are uncommented:

• extension=php_mysql.dll
• extension=php_gd2.dll
• extension=php_mbstring.dll

Download phpMyAdmin

1. Download the appropriate package (english.zip for me)
2. Extract the files.
3. Find the lowest directory containing all the files (phpMyAdmin-3.1.3-english for me) and copy that to a directory like C:\Inetpub\wwwroot.
4. Rename the resulting directory as phpMyAdmin, so the resulting path will be C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\phpMyAdmin.

Configure as an Application in IIS

It is usually preferable to run applications in their own application pool so they don’t affect other applications and so you can manage them independently.

1. Launch the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. Right-click on Application Pools and select New –> Application Pool.  Type phpMyAdmin as the name of the application pool and click OK.
3. Click on the Web Sites node in the navigation pane and double-click on Default Web Site.
4. Right-click on phpMyAdmin in the right pane and select Properties.  Click the Create button next to Application name.  Set the application pool to the previously-created phpMyAdmin application pool.  Click OK and then click OK on the phpMyAdmin Properties dialog box.

Configuring phpMyAdmin

phpMyAdmin stores its settings in a file called config.inc.php.  To create the file, we will start with a sample configuration file provided with the phpMyAdmin download.

1. Open the file config.sample.inc.php in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\phpMyAdmin.
2. Find the line that says $cfg['blowfish_secret'].  You must put something between the empty single quotes in order for phpMyAdmin to work.  You can put anything here.  I’ll put in DPotter.net.phpMyAdmin01.
3. Find the lines that say $cfg['Servers'][$i]['controluser'] and $cfg['Servers'][$i]['controlpass'] and uncomment them (remove the leading //).  Change the password.  These are used for accessing advanced features in phpMyAdmin.  For this demo I’ll set it the password to dpotter.net. Note that it is a good idea to change the username for security purposes since pma is the default username.
4. Find the section Advanced phpMyAdmin features and uncomment all the lines under it.
5. Save this file as config.inc.php.

Testing

At this point phpMyAdmin is ready to use.  Let’s test it out by navigating to http://localhost/phpmyadmin.

Type root for the username and type the password you specified when installing MySQL.  Then click the Go button.  At this point you are good to go.  You can create databases, update tables, delete rows, inspect data, etc.

Creating the phpMyAdmin SQL Account

Now is the time to create the user you specified in step #3 above for the controluser setting (defaults to pma). Once you’ve logged in to phpMyAdmin, click on the SQL tab and type or paste the following text:
CREATE USER 'pma'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'your_password';
You’ll want to replace your_password with the password you selected in step #3 above, and if you changed the username, replace pma with what you specified. Then click the Go button. Once you’ve done this, the error message at the bottom of the page will go away.
