AP DSC Exam Pattern and Selection procedure for vacancies of SGT, PET, School Assistant, Language Pandit : 

Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to conduct a written examination for recruitment of Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT), School Assistant, Physical Education Teacher (PET) and Language PanditCommissioner and Director of School Education (DSC)  has prepared an examination pattern according to which questions will be in examination. Candidates who will appear in examination should know about examination pattern and selection procedure to prepare for examination. To know examination pattern and selection procedure, read below written contents.

Examination Pattern and Selection procedure for the recruitment of  Secondary Grade Teacher ( SGT ), School Assistant, Physical Education Teacher ( PET ) and Language Pandit: - 

Selection Procedure – Applicants who will apply for this recruitment will be called for appearing in written examination. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of secured marks in written examination and Teacher Eligibility Test ( TET ). Selection for the recruitment of Physical Education Teacher will be made purely on obtained marks in written examination.

Examination Pattern : - 

1. Secondary Grade Teacher ( SGT ) : Time – 2 Hours and 30 Minutes  

Total Questions – 160

Total Marks – 80

Questions will from following subjects: - 

i. General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

ii. Perspectives in Education – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

iii. Language – I ( Indian Languages ) – 18 questions ( 9 marks )

iv. Language – II ( English ) – 18 questions ( 9 marks )

v. Mathematics – 18 questions ( 9 marks )

vi. Science – 18 questions ( 9 marks )

vii. Social Studies – 18 questions ( 9 marks )

viii. Teaching Methodology – 30 questions ( 15 marks )

2. School Assistant – Non Languages : Time – 2 Hours and 30 Minutes 

Total Questions – 160

Total Marks – 80

Questions will be from following subjects - 

i. General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

ii. Perspectives in Education – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

iii. Content – 88 questions ( 44 marks )

iv. Teaching Methodology – 32 questions ( 16 marks )

3. School Assistant – Language : Time – 2 Hours and 30 minutes 

Total questions – 160

Total Marks – 80

Questions will be from following subjects - 

i. General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

ii. Perspectives in Education – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

iii. Content – 88 questions ( 44 marks )

iv. Teaching Methodology – 32 questions ( 16 questions )

4. Language Pandit Grade II : Time – 2 Hours and 30 Minutes 

Total Questions – 160

Total marks – 80

Questions will be from following subjects - 

i. General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

ii. Perspectives in Education – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

iii. Content – 88 questions ( 44 marks )

iv. Teaching Methodology - 32 questions ( 16 marks )

5. Physical Education Teacher : Time – 3 Hours 

Total Questions – 200

Total marks – 100

Examination will consist questions from following subjects - 

i. General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

ii. English – 20 questions ( 10 marks )

iii. Principles, Philosophy and History of Physical Education – 30 questions ( 15 marks )

iv. Organization and Administration of Physical Education – 24 questions ( 12 marks )

v. Psychology, Materials and Methods of Physical Education – 24 questions ( 12 marks )

vi. Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology – 24 questions (12 marks)

vii. Health Education , Safety Education and Physiology of Exercise – 30 questions ( 15 marks )

viii. Officiating and Coaching of Physical Education – 28 questions ( 14 marks )

Note : –  Questions in examination will comes from above explained subjects. Candidates are required to qualify written examination to be selected as any post. Marks obtained in Teacher Eligibility Test ( TET ) will be used with written examination marks to selection of candidates. Candidates need to qualify online written examination to appointment as Physical Education Teacher.
